The LVMh sisters, whose “Ladies in White” perfume line includes a range of fragrances, say their “Lemony” fragrance is the best in the industry.
Lemons are so prevalent in perfume that the LVM huon is known as the ‘lemon king’.
“Lemones are so popular that we started to think that we had to create a perfume that was different,” says Nicole Chen, a LVM executive who has been responsible for the brand since 2013.
“Lemon is the most dominant grapefruit-derived fruit in the world, so we wanted to create something that is feminine and beautiful, and not just a masculine-type fragrance.”
The brand has made its name on the “L” word, but the LEMON brand name is based on the Greek word for ‘light’.
Lemon juice is made from lemon peel and grapefruit juice, and is the source of a wide range of LVM products including the fragrance LEMONE.
In an interview with the Wall Street Business Journal, Chen says the brand’s limescale fragrance “LEMON LIFETIME” is a “really feminine fragrance”.
The brand launched in Japan in 2015. “
You know, the LIFETS are great, but this is just a really feminine fragrance.
The brand launched in Japan in 2015.
LVM says it will expand the range of its fragraries globally.
