Vincenz Camuto, the founder and CEO of Vince Camutos perfume brand, has teamed up with another perfume brand to release a fragrance based on the film director’s filmography.
In collaboration with New York fashion house Astrid Strauss, Vince Camuti will be releasing a perfume inspired by the film’s most famous scenes, including a scene from the climax of The Passion of the Christ.
The scent, titled “Vince Camuto’s Passion,” will be available on June 6.
The fragrance will feature notes of white peach, pink grapefruit, and a splash of rosewater.
Camuto was an inspiration to the designer and he is also a longtime fan of the film.
The perfume is being marketed by a fragrance company called the Vincenes Camuto boutique, which was founded by Camuto.
“Vincenzi Camuto is a name that means a great deal to me and I have always loved this film,” Strauss said in a statement.
“We are thrilled to work with Vince Camulo to create a perfume that honors the passion and beauty of this visionary filmmaker and his work.”
The fragrance is being sold at New York Fashion Week and online through the brand’s website.
